Description:Hexagonal brown sapphire crystal with one termination polished to highlight the purple-pink color and chatoyancy. Note the crystallization patterns of concentric hexagonal layers. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #698; originally acquired in 1995
