Mineral:Sphalerite and Galena on Quartz
Locality:Monarch Mine, Creede, Colorado
Description:Very rare transparent yellow sphalerite crystals 1 to 4 mm long with complex galena crystals to 2 mm on quartz crystal matrix. The sphalerite crystals are spinel-law twinned (visible with magnification). Back and side sawn flat. ex. J. Cilen #5768
