Description: | Tapered hexagonal translucent pink corundum crystal with internal pink color visible on the cleaved ends. The prism faces have inclusions of black biotite mica crystals. Note the stepped prism faces on one side. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #550a; originally acquired in 1987 |
