Description:Transparent nodule of fire opal embedded in brown matrix. Note the unusual needle-like inclusions. The opal has bright flashes of color, typical of fire opal, that shows no diminishment after being out of the ground for 70+ years. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #151; originally acquired in 1933
