Locality:St. Joe Mine, No. 12 Shaft, Leadwood, Old Lead Belt, Saint Francois County, Missouri
Description:Transparent yellow scalenohedral calcite crystal with 1 mm metallic marcasite inclusions. The bottom and one side are cleavage faces. Nalle collected this specimen underground from a 2x4 foot cavity while employed as mining engineer. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #540c, employed at St. Joseph Lead Co. 1948-1951, personally collected in 1949
