Locality:Crestmore Quarry, 572' Level, Riverside County, California
Description:Large specimen of lustrous translucent brown grossular garnet crystals to 15 mm with translucent green epidote crystals to 20 mm and minor white calcite from the skarn border zone at the quarry. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #360d, employed at Crestmore 1951-1969, rising to managing director of Riverside Cement Co.
