Description: | Red-brown dodecahedral almandine garnet crystal 22 mm across in gray schist with smaller prismatic staurolite crystals to 7 mm long. More almandine crystals are partially exposed on the bottom and could be exposed with careful excavation. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #680; originally acquired in 1998 |
