Description: | Lustrous black Spinel-law twinned sphalerite crystals to 6 mm with yellow-metallic pyrite microcrystals on the surfaces, over brassy yellow-metallic chalcopyrite ore. Some sphalerite is coated with transparent scalenohedral calcite microcrystals. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #338 |
