Description: | One face of matrix completely covered with flattened disc-like translucent calcite crystals to 8 mm with oily black hydrocarbon coating on and between the calcite crystals. Small 1 mm quartz crystals are visible between some calcite crystals. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection #291; collected when Nalle worked at mine in 1942 |
