Description: | Translucent yellow-gray scalenohedral calcite crystals with waxy surface luster on select faces. The calcite appears to have crystallized in a narrow vein that constricted growth. A rare specimen from this mine collected by a mine employee. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection, employed at St. Joseph Lead Co. 1948-1951, personally collected in 1950 |
