Locality:Jensen Quarry, Riverside County, California
Description:Crystallized mass of transparent euhedral wollastonite crystals. The wollastonite crystals are individually colorless, but the mass has a pale green color. This habit of wollastonite is referred to as saccharoidal, because it resembles sugar. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection, employed at Crestmore 1951-1969, rising to managing director of Riverside Cement Co.
