Description:Portion of a cavity in basalt with the inner surfaces lined with lustrous smoky quartz crystals. The quartz crystals have colorless milky centers and transparent smoky outer layers. Scattered black-brown goethite microcrystals are visible under 20x. Ex. John Geiges collection #381
