Description: | Large lustrous translucent blood-red cinnabar crystals with minor brown matrix. The cinnabar crystals are elongated rhombohedral form with smooth faces and are interpenetrant-twinned (two crystals with common C-axes, rotated 180° from each other). Restored where cracked |
