Description: | Translucent amber-colored calcite crystals in stalactitic formations to 25 mm long in a 7 mm thick layer over gray limestone. The collectors that recovered these calcite stalactites (often labeled as aragonite) kept the exact locality secret. Ex. Larry Krause (1945-2010) collection, collected by Bud Ehrle |
