Locality:Alakamisy Itenina, south of Antsirabe, Fianarantsoa, Haute Matsiatra, Madagascar (Type Locality for Liddicoatite = near Antsirabé)
Description:Small single slice of a liddicoatite tourmaline polished on both sides to highlight the internal green triangular color zoning. Note the outer edges are water-worn from alluvial action. Recovered from 8 meter deep ancient river bed below a rice field.
Overall Size:28x22x1.5 mm
Crystals:1.5 mm thick slice
