Description: | Transparent 24 mm colorless gypsum crystal with a 43 mm scalenohedral translucent calcite crystal plus metallic pyrite crystals to 2 mm on quartz xls to 8 mm. Rare gypsum from N.J. trap rock, normally gypsum dissolves early in the paragenetic sequence. Collected ca. 1980 |
