Locality:Butte Mining District, Summit Valley, Silver Bow County, Montana
Description:Terminated bladed iridescent blue-black covellite crystals to 25 mm with bright yellow-metallic pyrite crystals to 3 mm on massive pyrite matrix. The covellite crystals formed in a vein allowing complete crystal development. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010); acquired in 1982 from Trevillion-Johnson Gems, Butte, Mt.
