Locality:Rutherford Mine, Amelia Court House, Amelia County, Virginia
Description:Very large specimen of white cleavelandite, the variety of albite feldspar exhibiting platy habit, with lustrous crystallized surfaces on all sides. One edge was the interior of the cavity and has cleavelandite, smoky quartz, muscovite, green chlorite. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection; ex. Paul Smith; acquired in 1996 at the Centennial Mineralogy Symposium at Penn State University
