Locality:Ochoco Mountains, Oregon
Description:Half of a quartz chalcedony nodule, known locally as a thunderegg, with hollow center lined with small quartz crystals to 1 mm. The nodule was sliced and polished to show the translucent gray and brown interior. Ex. John Geiges collection
