Locality:Chester, Windsor County, Vermont
Description:Sharp, well crystallized black octahedral magnetite crystal with flat crystal faces in green schist. The magnetite crystals, some incomplete, are scattered throughout the schist and possibly more could be exposed with careful excavation. Ex. John Geiges collection
