Description:Rare crystal specimen of Chatham Emerald, a synthetic gem-grade emerald, the green gem variety of the mineral beryl, with lustrous stout prismatic crystals with flat termination. The rear face shows where it crystallized on the edge of the crucible. Manufactured by Carroll Chatham, acquired in 1982
