Description: | Portion of a vein of crystallized calcite with tabular translucent gray-brown calcite crystals along one edge. The matrix calcite is fluorescent under UV illumination. Careful trimming could greatly improve the specimen. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection; acquired from Leroy Pascoe (1901-1991) |
