Locality:Green's Farm, 750 m. ESE of Roxbury Falls, Roxbury, New Haven County, Connecticut
Description:Elongated specimen of dark red-brown dodecahedral almandine garnet crystals to 20 mm in gray schist with smaller red-brown prismatic staurolite crystals to 7 mm. The almandine garnet crystals are large and well formed. Locality closed to collecting in 2012. Collected ca. 1992
