Locality:Green's Farm, 750 m. ESE of Roxbury Falls, Roxbury, New Haven County, Connecticut
Description:Red-brown dodecahedral almandine garnet crystal 19 mm across in gray schist with smaller almandine crystals plus prismatic staurolite crystals to 8 mm long. The almandine crystals were extracted from solid rock by sandblasting away the schist. Locality now closed.
