Locality:Cavnic Mine (Kapnikbanya), Maramures, Romania
Description:Lustrous translucent brown-black smoky quartz crystals to 30 mm with partial coating of translucent brown saddle-shaped dolomite crystals to 1 mm. The contrast of the dolomite against the smoky quartz is very aesthetic. The smoky color is artificial. Originally acquired in 2000. (irradiated)
