Locality:Garnet Ledge, east shore of Stikine River Delta, 11 km north of Wrangell, Alaska
Description:Translucent wine-red almandine garnet crystal exposed along the top edge of gray schist. The almandine crystal is dodecahedral form with surfaces composed of many smaller parallel crystal faces. This deposit is now exhausted and no longer producing. Ex.
