Mineral:Prehnite with Sphalerite, Calcite and Apophyllite
Locality:O and G Industries Southbury Quarry, Southbury, New Haven County, Connecticut
Description:Many transparent yellow-green sphalerite crystals to 4 mm with lustrous transparent colorless apophyllite crystals to 1 mm and a 7 mm translucent colorless calcite on translucent green prehnite. Sphalerite, a sulfide, is rare at this locality. From my personal collection; collected by William (Bill) Barrett (1924-2018)
