Description: | Pale-pink bladed calcite crystals to 50 mm with surfaces composed of rhombohedral calcite crystals to 4 mm. The specimen is composed of manganese-rich calcite, often sold by the obsolete mineral name manganocalcite, and fluoresces under UV illumination. |
