Description: | Lustrous cuprite crystals to 4.5 mm on a thin plate of limonite-stained quartz crystals to 3 mm. The cuprite crystals appear gray, but are actually translucent red when viewed under 20x. The crystals are cubo-octahedral with dodecahedral edge faces. |
