Locality:Palmer Park Mine, Doņa Ana County, New Mexico
Description:Lustrous transparent purple amethyst quartz crystals to 16 mm over bladed translucent yellow barite crystals to 20 mm. The yellow barite color shows through the purple amethyst color giving them a brownish appearance. Collected in November 1991
