Mineral:Prehnite pseudomorphs after Laumontite with Apophyllite
Locality:Mumbai (Bombay) District, Maharashtra, India
Description:Translucent green prehnite pseudomorphs after elongated laumontite crystals to 40 mm long with scattered rectangular colorless apophyllite crystals to 11 mm. The laumontite formed first, was coated with prehnite, then the laumontite dissolved away.
Overall Size:6x2x2 cm
Crystals:1-11 mm
