Locality:Central Highland Belt, near Ratnapura, Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon)
Description:Two large doubly-terminated interpenetrant translucent sherry-colored (with blue streaks) sapphire crystals, the gem variety of the mineral species corundum, with striated prism faces. The sapphire crystal edges show slight alluvial wear. Weight: 54.5 carats
Overall Size:33x15x13 mm
