Description: | Large specimen of a miarolitic cavity in Conway Granite lined with lustrous transparent smoky quartz crystals to 55 mm and blocky white microcline feldspar crystals to 28 mm. The cluster stands upright nicely for display without support. Collected by Peter Samuelson, purchased from Bill Ross in 1992 |
