Locality:Faywood Mine, Jose District, Cooks Peak, Luna County, New Mexico
Description:Large formation of white quartz pseudomorphs after calcite crystals up to 30 mm. The calcite naturally dissolved away leaving the quartz in the shape of the calcite. One of the specimens I stashed away many years ago when I bought the entire find.
