Locality:Fairfax Quarry, 6.4 km west of Centreville, Fairfax County, Virginia
Description:Translucent vivid-green prehnite plate 10 mm thick coated on one face with lustrous tabular colorless transparent apophyllite crystals to 8 mm. The apophyllite crystals on the left edge are missing where they cleaved during extraction. Ex. Hugh Ford (1885-1966)
