Locality:Ihosy District, Fianarantsoa, Madagascar
Description:Well crystallized ruby crystal, the pink variety of the mineral species corundum, with lustrous crystal faces that have subtle crystallization patterns on most faces. This crystal is in excellent condition, with only minor alluvial wear on the edges. Ex. A. Stevenson (1916-2007) collection #123, originally acquired in 1971.
