Mineral:Topaz with Hematite and Rutile inclusions
Locality:Tepetates, San Luis Potosi, Mexico
Description:Lustrous transparent red-brown topaz crystals on brown rhyolite. The red-brown color is due to microscopic hematite and hair-like rutile inclusions. The topaz has unusual concave pyramidal faces on opposite edges of the termination.
