Mineral:Fluorite over Galena
Locality:Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
Description:Transparent cubic pale-purple fluorite crystals to 35 mm over lustrous gray-metallic cubic galena crystals to 18 mm. The surfaces of the fluorite crystals are composed of many smaller parallel cubic crystal faces. Fluoresces under UV illumination. Ex. Lawrence H. Conklin (1933-2016)
