Mineral:Quartz var. Smoky Quartz with Arfvedsonite
Locality:Hurricane Mountain, east of Intervale, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Large lustrous dark-smoky quartz crystal with two partial black arfvedsonite crystals included on the prism faces. Internally the smoky quartz is transparent, but the dark color makes it difficult to see inside. There is a contact on a rear corner. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s.
