Description: | Large cluster of parallel pale-purple amethyst quartz crystals over a core of milky quartz. The amethyst crystals are transparent with white albite microcrystal inclusions in areas. Remnants of white pocket clay are in crevices between the amethyst. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s. |
