Description: | Terminated (rare) black prismatic arfvedsonite crystal 41 mm long intergrown into the side of a lustrous doubly-terminated transparent smoky quartz crystal 57 mm long with small brown zircon crystals to 2 mm. Has remnants of glue on bottom. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #418, collected in the 1960s-70s. |
