Description: | Two parallel crystals of blue-green amazonite, the variety of microcline feldspar colored by trace lead impurities, with whitish outer layer of colorless microcline. Amazonite from Black Cap is exceptionally rare. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s. |
