Description: | Elongated cylindrical andalusite crystal with remnants of silvery schist on the outer surfaces. One end was sawn and polished to highlight the cruciform twinning running longitudinally through the andalusite. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #203, collected in the 1960s-70s. |
