Description: | Classic albite roses composed of 1-4 mm white albite crystals overgrown on larger microcline crystals in rounded aggregates to 25 mm with a few lustrous translucent smoky quartz crystals to 30 mm around the perimeter. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #279, collected in the 1960s-70s. |
