Description: | Lustrous transparent colorless di-pyramidal quartz crystal that has a termination dominated by alternating faces resulting in a cubic appearance. The Tamminen Quarry is famous for pseudo-cubic quartz crystals and they are highly sought by collectors. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected by Frank Perham and purchased from Perham's, West Paris, Maine for $150 |
