Locality:Tongbei-Yunling District, Fujian Province, China
Description:Lustrous translucent wine-red trapezohedral spessartine garnet crystals to 4 mm across on crème-colored microcline crystals to 3 mm with minor colorless quartz and transparent gray hyalite opal that fluoresces green under SW UV illumination. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection
