Description: | Blocky amazonite crystals, the blue-green variety of microcline feldspar caused by trace amounts of lead impurities, with satin luster. The amazonite has deep blue-green color on the prism faces and slightly paler color on the termination faces. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #389. |
