Description: | Green malachite pseudomorph after a prismatic 50 mm azurite crystal with remnants of brown matrix in areas. The azurite crystallized first, then altered molecule by molecule to malachite, maintaining the original shape of the azurite crystals. Ex. Hugh Ford (1885-1966) |
