Description: | Large translucent smoky quartz crystal from an obscure locality near the famous Moose Pocket. The outer 1-4 mm thick layer of the quartz is a milky colorless zone over a core of the crystal is dark smoky color. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #172, collected in the 70s. |
