Locality:Cook Road locality, Windham, Cumberland County, Maine
Description:Very large crystal of translucent blue kyanite on colorless quartz matrix. The kyanite was recovered from the old ledge at the site (a house is now built over the location) which is now closed to collecting forever. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #12, collected in the 1960s-70s.
